Created in 1989, the Megève Mont Blanc is a legendary mountain event that stands out with a unique feature: riders choose their distance during the race and not before the event.
After several years in June, the race makes its grand return to its historic date, August 31, 2025, for an exceptional edition with a new route in the Beaufortain region.
In 2025, prepare yourself to climb exceptional mountain passes:
🔹 Col de la Forclaz – A challenging and wild ascent
🔹 Col des Saisies – A steady climb through alpine pastures
For the XL route:
🔹 Col du Pré – A demanding and wild ascent
🔹 Roselend Dam and Col du Méraillet (XL only) – A breathtaking scenery

On the road, follow your instinct and feelings to choose your distance among 85, 104.9 or 134.4 km.
M – 85.6 km | 2152m elevation gain
The M route 🚴♂️ is an invitation to discover the beauty of a mountain bike tour through 85 km and 2152m elevation gain.
Starting from Megève for a first climb towards Notre-Dame de Bellecombe and Crest Voland. You will then descend towards Cohennoz and tackle the climb to Col de la Forclaz. After a beautiful descent to Queige, you will pass through Beaufort 🧀 before climbing steadily towards Les Saisies, then return to Megève for a well-deserved finish 🎉.
This route will satisfy those who love challenges while enjoying magnificent Alpine landscapes.
L – 105 km | 2812m elevation gain
With its 105 km and 2812m elevation gain, the L route is ideal for cyclists who want to push their limits while exploring beautiful landscapes 🌳.
Starting from Megève, you will go to Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, then to Crest Voland and descend through Cohennoz, before passing through Col de la Forclaz and Queige. After a beautiful descent towards Albertville, you will take the climb of the Col des Cyclotouristes from Venthon, which you will leave to join Les Pointières and Molliessoulaz.
You will arrive in Beaufort 🧀 to start the climb towards Les Saisies ⛷️, then return to Megève after a memorable and breathtaking journey.
XL – 135 km | 3867m elevation gain
The XL course ⚡ is a true challenge, offering 135 km and 3867 m of elevation gain. A complete adventure through Val d’Arly and Beaufortain, which will test your abilities while rewarding you with magnificent landscapes.
After the start in Megève 🏡, you will climb to Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, then to Crest Voland and Cohennoz. You will then cross Col de la Forclaz and descend towards Queige, then towards Albertville to tackle the climb of the Col des Cyclotouristes from Venthon. Passing through Les Pointières and Molliessoulaz, you will arrive in Beaufort 🧀 before tackling the legendary climb towards the Roselend Dam via Col du Pré.
The descent to Beaufort from Col du Merraillet will precede the final climb to Les Saisies ⛷️ and a triumphant return to Megève 🎉.
